Lembram-se dos H's que aqui vos tinha mostrado? Pois vejam só o maravilhoso resultado final. Foram aplicados em fraldas para o H. Eu gosto particularmente do efeito da rendinha.

Remember the H's that I had shown you here? Well just look at the wonderful end result. Were applied to diapers for H. I particularly like the effect of lace.

Hoje estava a preencher um questionário para uma troca do grupo Pontos & Pontinhos e deparei-me com a pergunta “Qual o teu Designer preferido” e pensei “isto vai ser tão difícil de responder”!....

 

Eu gosto de tantos!!! Um dos meus passatempos preferidos é conhecer e pesquisar sobre designers na Internet, encontram-se coisas LINDAS!!!
 

No ponto de cruz, propriamente dito, gosto da Margaret Sherry, da Barbara Ana, do Michael Powell e agora estou a descobrir e a apaixonar-me pela Emily Peacock.

 

Depois temos aqueles artistas que adoramos e que podemos adaptar ao ponto de cruz. Como já devem ter reparado eu adoro o Gustav Klimp. E agora estou a bordar muitas das personagens da Beatrix Potter.

 

 

Sobre o tema Disigners resolvi lançar um post em forma de rubrica onde apresento (ou em muitos casos, reapresento) um designer. O que acharam da ideia?

 

Pois, a primeira vai ser a minha recente paixão, a Designer Emily Peacock. Vocês conhecem?

O objectivo de Emily Peacock é oferecer projetos que rompem com a tradição, os designs são atraentes, original e que prendam o olhar.

Today I was complete a questionnaire for an exchange on the group Pontos & Pontinhos and I was faced with the question "What's your favorite Designer" and I thought "this is going to be so hard to answer"! ....

I like so many!! One of my favorite pastimes is to know designers and researching about on the Internet, they are things so BEAUTIFUL!!

In cross stitch, itself, I like the Margaret Sherry, the Barbara Ann, Michael Powell and now I discover and fall in love by Emily Peacock.

Then we have those artists that we love and that we can adapt to cross stitch. As you may have noticed I love Gustav Klimp. And now I'm embroidering many of the characters from Beatrix Potter.

On the topic Designers I decided to launch a post where I present a designer. What do you think of the idea?

The first will be my latest passion, Designer Emily Peacock. You know?

And tlhe Letters? Does anyone imagine to customize some work (for example some pillows for the bed of the couple) with the Letters of this designer?

Emily's aim is to offer designs that break with tradition, designs that are attractive, original and eye-catching.

Marítimo - Parte II

Continuo com o tema marítimo como inspiração. Como podem ver é mais uma encomenda da C. para o pequeno H.J. que está prestes a chegar. 

Quem não gosta de bordar para bebés? E há como não gostar? As coisinhas da bebé são sempre tão fofas, delicadas e podemos fazer mil e uma coisas. Podemos usar cores mais vivas ou até mais sóbrias e não temos como errar, não é verdade?

I continue with the maritime theme as inspiration. As you can see is anotherorder of C. for small H.J. that is about to arrive.

Who does not like embroidering for baby? And there as not to like? The baby's little things are always so cute, delicate and we can do a thousand things. We can use brighter colors or even more tough and we can not miss, right?

Marítimo

O verão está quase a acabar, mas a praia e o mar continuam aí para o poder-mos apreciar. Quem não gosta de ficar a admirar o mar? Eu gosto das suas cores, do barulho, de passear à beira mar como uma criança e apanhar conchas! A cada praia que vá tenho que lá trazer pelo menos 1 conchinha!!! 

Bem, como podem perceber, essa foi a inspiração para bordar esta babete que faz parte da encomenda da C. Gostam?

Summer is almost over, but the beach and the sea are still there so we can enjoy. Who does not enjoy getting to admire the sea? I like its colors, the noise, strolling on the seafront as a child and pick up seashells! Every beach I go I have to bring at least 1 seashell!!

Well, as you can see, this was the inspiration for this embroidery bib part of the order of C. Did you like?

H's - Parte II

E a saga dos H's continua... Mais uma encomenda da C. Desta vez bordei em quadrilé normal e depois a futura mamã aplica em fraldas para o H. O que acham? 

And the H’s saga continues ... Is an order of C. This time I embroidered on Aida normal and then the future mum applies in diapers for H. What do you think?

DCoração

E o que acham da ideia de aplicar o ponto de cruz também na decoração lá de casa? Pois bem é isso mesmo que hoje vos venho sugerir.

Vejam só como podemos transformar uma parede com uma pintura em ponto-cruz ou até mesmo bordar-mos um candeeiro?

Eu adorei a ideia, afinal, quem gosta de ponto de cruz, gosta sempre!!! É optimo para mudar “aquela” parede sem grassa lá de casa ou até mesmo dar um toque mais pessoal na decoração.

And, what do you think of the idea of applying the cross stitch also in the decoration of the house? Well that's what I've been suggesting to you today.

Look at how we can make a painting on a wall with cross-stitch or even embroidery a lamp?
I loved the idea, after all who likes to cross stitch, like always! It is great to change "that" wall in the house or even give a more personal touch in decorating.

Wishes

Quem por aí não adora entrar numa retrosaria e ver os milhares de materiais? Eu AMO... Fico a imaginar o que podia fazer com isto e aquilo. Como ficaria este projecto com aquele material. Até me dá vontade de experimentar outras artes. Por exemplo ando muito curiosa com a costura. Vocês já viram as coisas fantásticas que se podem fazer? Desde bonecas Tilda (que são um amor) até brinquedos de tecido e mil e uma bolsinhas... todas sabemos o quanto nós mulheres precisamos de bolsas e bolsinhas de todos os tamanhos :)

Pois bem na minha ultima passagem pela retrosaria trouxe estes materiais, prontos para verem o que vou fazer com eles?

Who does not love go to a haberdashery and see the thousands of materials? I LOVE ... I wonder what he could do with this and that. How would this project with that material. So it makes me want to try other arts. For example I am very curious about the seam. Have you seen the amazing things you can do? Since Tilda dolls (which are one love) to toys and  thousand and one pouches... all know how we women need purses and bags of all sizes :)

Que tal esse feriado? Passou bem depressa, não acham? E o fim-de-semana já está aí... Por aqui, o feriado deu imenso jeito para dar um bom avanço na encomenda da C. Terminei este conjunto de 3 babetes. Gostam? 

Eu adoro bordar estas coisinhas super fofas!!! Gosto de imaginar como vai ficar o bebé quando estiver a usar a peça e como vai reagir a pessoa que a encomendou.

Tenho mais alguns bordados para completar esta encomenda, prometo que volto em breve para mostrar tudinho :)

I love stitching these super cute little things! I like to imagine how the baby will be when using the bib and how the person who ordered it you will react to.

Antes de mais, mil desculpas pela minha ausência, mas entre o emprego, a faculdade (pois é, voltei a estudar) e as lides domésticas às vezes é complicado passar por cá.

Olá a todos!!!

Antes de mais MUITO OBRIGADA pelos vossos maravilhosos comentários. Hoje o que me trás cá é um tema do qual não costumo falar, o Futebol! É verdade não sou grande fá do desporto, mas a verdade é que como muito dos portugueses vibro com  os jogos da nossa Selecção. E como hoje fomos apurados para os quartos-de-final do Campeonato Europeu de Futebol resolvi dedicar este post ao Futebol.

À dias achei estes gráficos aqui, são da revista CrossStitcher Magazine de Julho de 2012 Nº254, passem por lá e façam o download, tem montes de gráficos amorosos.

First of all THANK YOU for your wonderful comments. Today, what brings me here is a theme which usually I doesn't talk about: the football! It is true I'm not a great fan from the sport, but the truth is that as much of the Portuguese, I thrill with the games of our selection. And as today we were established for the quarter-final of the European Football Championship I decided to dedicate this post to Football.
In the other day I found these patterns here, they are from the magazine CrossStitcher from July 2012 No. 254, go through there and do the download,  has lots of wonderful patterns.

O Príncipe Sapo

Antes de mais quero agradecer os vossos sempre amáveis comentarios, sempre que vejo um comentário novo fazem-me sorrir, por isso já sabem, comentem.

Venho mais uma vez mostrar-vos artigos para bebé, se bem que desta vez não da saga Beatrix Potter mas sim um conjunto de fralda e babete que fiz para uma Princesa que está quase quase a nascer. O que acham?

Piu piu - Parte II

Eis mais um bordado da saga Beatrix Potter! Desta vez é um Cesto para os acessórios do bebé (pó de talco, etc) com dois lados para bordar também da colecção Anchor Baby Angel. Como a faixa para bordar era relativamente pequena optei por estes pintainhos. De um lado bordei os que vêem na imagem em cima e do outro os que vem na imagem em baixo. Eu acho que ficou um mimo e vocês?

Here is another Beatrix Potter embroidery! This time is a basket for baby accessories (talcum powder, etc.) with two sides to embroidery also from the collection Anchor Baby Angel. How the space to embroider was relatively small   I chose these little chicks. On one side I embroidery those that you can see in the image above and in the other side that you can see in the image below.

Dia da Criança

Eu sei que estou em divida com todos vocês, já há algum tempo não vos dou noticias... Tenho alguns trabalhos para vos mostrar, mas sem máquina fotográfica é difícil. Vou tentar fotografar com o telemóvel e depois mostro. Tenho também andado com o tempo muito ocupado, quem dera o dia tivesse 72 horas.

Mas num dia tão especial como o de hoje (Dia Mundial da Criança) não me perdoaria se não vos viesse desejar um excelente dia a TODOS!!! Afinal cada um de nós tem uma criança dentro de si, não é verdade?!

Neste dia não posso deixar de vos divulgar uma iniciativa que me tocou a alma,   a causa "Filhos do Coração"  que mais do que resgatar crianças escravas, pretende denunciar internacionalmente a escravatura infantil. Deixo-vos com o Hino desta iniciativa:

Por ultimo, eu não seria eu se não vos deixasse um mimo, e como já sabem para mim o melhor dos mimos são os gráficos, neste Dia da Criança deixo-vos com este, que achei super fofo e adequado à data, podem encontra-lo aqui.

Estou de volta com mais uma das personagens do maravilhoso mundo encantado de Beatrix Potter, desta vez a Senhora Rata Migalha. Bordei-a numa outra bolsinha da  Colecção Anchor Baby Angel.
